Salary with Russian / German / French/ English in Poland (Kraków) in 2020

Today we will talk about jobs in Poland with language skills.

Mostly – Customer Service or IT support. This is basic job, you can get it without any university degree or experience. Yes, if you are from Europe and cannot find any job in your country, relocation to Poland can easily fix this issue.

I have friends from different companies in Kraków, I was asking them about average salary. It’s not about my current company, but in general. Similar situation in Wrocław, but in Warsaw you can get more money, but life also more expensive.

English (B1-B2 level) needed almost for every company by default. Multi language knowledge can increase your salary.

Ok, let’s start from Russian. As you know, last time a lot of people from Ukraine moved to Poland looking for a better life. So salary was going down and now average about 4200 PLN gross (or 3000 net). Some companies will ask you for English and Polish language skills also. So its good to mention in your contract support language and all the details. For the such money you can support 3 languages…

Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak … can start from 5500-6000 gross (4000-4300 net). And usually less work (sometimes you can found company/project with few simply calls or e-mails daily) for those languages. Of course, basic English needed to. In this case better even not to speak Polish, because company with overuse your skills or you can mention all the information again in contract.

Next level – German/French. I think now it’s starting from 6500-7000 gross (up to 5000 net). Great money, if you are starting in age of 18 (after lyceum for example). Of course, additional skills can give you more money, also some companies can pay more or less. You can negotiate your salary in Job interview so can be different on the same position. That’s why better never share your real salary with you teammates.

If we talk about Dutch and other specific languages (not popular in Poland), can be more, than 8000 PLN gross. As I was saying before, in Warsaw you can get more money, in Wroclaw the same amount, but in other cities less. So if you decided to move Poland just for a job, try to choose between Krakow, Wroclaw or Warsaw.

This amount I mentioned – can be completely different in real life. But at least, giving you some basic information. Of course, companies trying not to mention salary even after first or second recruitment steps. Also according to contract, I cannot share mine, this data was shared by people, who was leaving or changing companies.
